In both regions, working-age Ukrainian refugees are a minority registered as job seekers.
> On the Forem side, early March figures showed 2,378 Ukrainians registered and 408 found jobs.

Looking at the figures for Brussels, it means that only 14.2% of registrants actually find a job. It may seem low, but it is a percentage that is considered good by community groups. “There is actually a big problem with degree equivalence.” Spokesperson Romain Adam said: “99% are not equal. This can hinder access to employment.”

Actiris also points out that finding a job is not a priority for Ukrainians. “These are mainly women with children. The priority is to find stable housing.”
