New details emerge about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra expected in June. The post and the video at the beginning of this article are the same Phone pictures from which we can discern their possible photographic characteristics.
The image is from the Weibo Digital Chat Station account and allows us to admire the photographic unit, which is no longer rectangular like last year, but rounded. This will then confirm this change to the design of the image stack.
The cover also has engravings on the photo set where the words “120x, 12-120mm, f/1.95-4.1” can be read. “12-120mm” which denotes the focal distance this smartphone will cover between its 12mm ultra wide angle and 48MP telephoto lens at 120mm. As for the mention of “f/1.95-4.1”, that refers to the camera’s lens apertures that range from f/1.95 for the main sensor to f/4.1 for the telephoto.
All this coincides with the rumors that Xiaomi 12 Ultra was going to introduce the same sensors as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
It also looks like the smartphone will debut with the new CPU Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus Which allows you to take advantage of high performance, but also important improvements in the image processing part with the new ISP (image signal processor) that will allow it to generate better shots while maintaining the same imaging sensors compared to last year. Partnership with the Leica brand could also be on the agenda for the photographic segment.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to debut in China in three different versions: one with ceramic, one with glass, and one with vegan leather on the back.
Regarding the price, no indicator has filtered yet but last year Xiaomi 11 Ultra was launched at a price of 1,200 euros.
