In the next versions of WhatsApp, a new function will be integrated that will allow you to send messages to yourself.
This is a novelty that will benefit iOS users first and foremost It allows you to use the functions of the service known to date by chatting with your own number.
This way you will have a personal space to combine notes, links, videos, photos, stickers and voice memos. So it will be easier to organize digital files and notes scattered in different chats, keep an eye on items to buy or save a recipe tutorial found on the web.
The personal number will appear directly among the contacts while the chat window, once opened, will have the caption “Message yourself”. Messages will be naturally visible on all devices synced with your WhatsApp account and will benefit from end-to-end encryption.
The feature will be gradually available to all users who have updated their iOS devices to version 22.23.74.. There is no news at the moment about extending the functionality to the Android counterpart.
