The Guardians of the Galaxy are definitely a troublemaker in the MCU! And since its debut in 2014, Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) ensemble has come a long way. After collaborating on Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers Endgame, the MCU dream team has been a little reticent.
But a few months ago, we got to see them again in Thor: Love and Thunder. Meanwhile, Groot is getting his own mini-series on Disney+. And all of this was just an appetizer to prepare us for their thunderous return to the MCU!
In fact, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be back very soon in a “Holiday Special” TV movie. This program will come to Disney+ on November 25th.
A TV movie made very easily
With the release of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special approaching, James Gunn confided in The Hollywood Reporter’s microphone. He said that writing the third installment of the franchise was real ” to torture “. Unlike the TV movie that I had the pleasure of writing!
James Gunn said that the script for the holiday party was done very quickly.
“I’ll be honest, I wrote the script in two hours, like it just came out of me. It was so easy. Shooting it was really easy. Getting the best performances from the cast was easy, unlike Vol. 3 which was torture in every sense of the word.”
What does the Holiday Special have in store for us?
Guardians of the Galaxy fans have been waiting for this holiday special for months. And they won’t be disappointed! In this 40-minute TV movie, we’ll find the Guardians trying to cheer up Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). The little team will do everything they can to make the birthday special.
While a depressed Peter Quill is still looking for Gamora, his friends will try to make him smile again by kidnapping Kevin Bacon. The Footloose actor is indeed a Star-Lord idol.
In the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, we can count on the presence of Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper.
