Motorola is working on a new top-of-the-line model, expected in July, known today as the “Motorola Frontier 22”. We already knew some of the enticing features, but today the colleagues of the German site WinFuture published the first image showing the complete design.
In this first photo, the Frontier 22 is shown in carbon color, with what appears to be an aluminum rear shell. Motorola has opted for a curved-edge design for the 6.67-inch screen, while behind it there is a 50-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics, a 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens and, above all, a huge 200-megapixel main camera (Isocell Samsung HP1).
We had also discovered the inner peculiarities of this model a few days ago. We remind that it could benefit from a still unreleased chip from Qualcomm, marked with the codename Snapdragon SM8475which would be invoked Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Pluss. This powerful processor is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage to choose from. The 6.67-inch curved screen in 20:9 format would take the form of a Full HD + OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The battery off 4500mAh It can be charged very quickly thanks to 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The software side is powered by Android 12 with Motorola’s MyUX interface.
WinFuture also tells us that the top-end would support dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
