Today, a user of the Chinese social network Weibo released three photos taken by the S22 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, and S23 Ultra. These three images allow us to see what the 200MP sensor of Samsung’s upcoming flagship will look like.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to be launched in February. Three new models are expected: S23, S23 + and S23 Ultra. The latter promises to be an exceptional photophone thanks to the introduction of a 200MP sensor.
Ice Universe, known for its Samsung info, has published what it claims is a photo taken with the SGS23 Ultra’s rear camera, as well as comparing photos taken with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Google Pixel.7 Pro.

For its next high-end smartphone, Samsung should introduce a 200MP sensor, andISOCELL HP2. It’s a smaller variant of the ISOCELL HP1 that you find on the Xiaomi 12T Pro in particular. Being smaller, this sensor will have to use Quad Bayer technology, which combines four adjacent pixels to form a larger unit.
The phone will be able to capture 4:3 200MP photos, but also at 50 megapixels. This sensor should also be able to take 12.5MP images, with 16 contiguous pixels combined. Note that an Ultra Stable module is also expected on this new smartphone from the Korean company.
In addition to the 200MP sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will benefit from improving your photography and videography skills at night. Thus, the photos in low light will be much better than those of the current model.
